Artwork - Matisse Cutout

Welcome to the Warren Public Library

Latest News

The Warren Public Library continues our travel into art with a second wonderful art show of Warren School students. Their artwork will be on display at the library through March 27th during library hours. There will be a reception for the artists from all grades on Saturday, March 7th at 4 – 5 pm, also at the library. Light refreshments will be served.

The Warren students are studying contemporary art and have been inspired by the cutouts of Matisse, the mobiles of Alexander Calder and the work of M..C. Escher and others under the direction of Laurie Sweet, Art Teach for Region 6. Each piece of art is the student's unique.

This program is collaboration between the Warren Public Library, the Warren School, the Friends of Warren School and the Arts Enrichment program.

We look forward to welcoming you to the library to share the colorful art at the end of a long winter.
